We will be closed on Nov 22 and 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday.  All normal operations will resume on Monday Nov 26.  Please note that UPS will not be shipping those two days (except air packages on Friday), so expect an extra two days for delivery.

On the topic of the Holiday Season, we will be closed the following dates: December 24 & 25 (Monday and Tuesday); Monday, December 31; Tuesday, January 1.  We will be conducting regular operations on all other days.

Our Holiday 2007 Catalog is finished and we will begin distribution the week of November 19.  As always, every order will include the catalog.  If you have not ordered from us recently, you can simply fill out the “request catalog” form found on our website (or this blog- look to the right side of the page).  Everyone who previously requested a catalog and got the fall version can expect to get the holiday edition soon- there is no need to re-request.

At long last, our new roaster has arrived at our new facility on Monday, November 5.  We had quite a time unloading it- the core part required three forklifts at once to get it off the truck.  In addition, several other pieces of new equipment will be arriving this week, including packing machines and mixers.

The roaster installation is now well underway and we hope to have it working before Thanksgiving.  In the meantime, our current roasting facility will continue to operate in full force to get all orders roasted and shipped on time.  Expect to see a minimal disturbance in order fulfillment when we switch all operations over to our new location, which is likely to occur in late December.

Happy Halloween! Now that October is coming to a close, it’s time for our Novemeber Roasters Blend and November coffee flavors. 

This month the Roastmaster has concocted a blend of four premium roast coffees from Africa and South America. Ranging in roast from Light, to City, to French, these beans combined create a brew that is moderate in body with an interesting combination of South American piquancy and the wild flavor notes commonly found in African beans.

The November coffee flavors consist of Autumn Harvest, Pumpkin Spice, and Seasons Greetings.  Pumpkin Spice is a blend of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon flavors.  It is easily one of our most popular coffee flavors for the Holiday Season.  Autumn Harvest is a spicy mixture of the popular flavors of Fall, including spiced rum, apple cinnamon, nutmeg, and more.  Seasons Greetings blends chocolate and nutmeg flavors to create an excellent Holiday favorite.  All flavors are also available in Decaf.
